Corey Taylor debates the deadly sins
Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor's first book explores the idea that the seven deadly sins - wrath, greed, sloth, pride, lust, envy, and gluttony - are merely the characteristics that make us human.
"They're the kind of things that connect us all - we're all horny, hungry, angry mothers, basically. But that doesn’t make them sins. They may lead to sin, but the urge itself isn't sin. We’re all instinctive animals at the end of the day. You can live with these hungers and still be a good person," he told ExploreMusic.
"I balance it with some stories from my past, all these things I went through and came out the other side from. Hopefully I'm a good person for it. So it's half-funny and half-serious, but I think it's very intelligently written. I make valid points and cuss a lot, so there you go."
