Countdown To The Red Carpet

Countdown To The Red Carpet(CTTRC) recently won the 2009 title of 'Rockspaaider'. An afrikaans battle of the bands for school bands, in the 9 provinces of SA.

Out of the 52 bands entering, CTTRC won the final battle and is finally, slowly but surely, making their way up in the music industry in SA. They currently have 2 music videos on the afrikaans rock channel (DStV MK-324). 'Ek Weet' is the one video and the second: 'Ek Wag Nogsteeds' (witch is also in the MK top10 for 5weeks now).

CTTRC also launched their EP a month ago and is available in stores, nationwide at your nearest CD store. The bands' biggest dream, is to follow in the footsteps of Seether - a South African band, now known all over the world. Let the Countdown begin! 3..2..1..
