This ?Ujwayele? star promises a stellar performance with all the hits his fans have come to know and love! Born in Langa in 1971, Mlamli started singing at an early age at school and in church. He realised a lifelong dream in 1986 when he joined his icon, Brenda Fassie, as a backing vocalist. In 1989 he recorded his debut album, entitled "Who Cares", produced by Trompies dueo Mdu Masilela and Mandla ?Spikiri?, featuring tracks written by David Mabaso and Sammy Klaas of the ?Big Dudes?. Mlamli also continued to back superstars like Rebecca Malope, Eric ?D?, Chico Twala, Ebony and Chimora. He travelled extensively across Africa and abroad with Slam Factory and Brenda Fassie and has given him the chance to share the stage with international acts at spectacular events including the Kora Awards at Sun City. Mlamli recorded his second album, "Ujwayele" in 2005, gaining significant airplay on national radio stations. In 2009, he performed at the North Sea Jazz festival and opened for The Manhattans. His third album, "Stranger" won him new fans and saw him offered the chance to perform at the ANC "Siyanqoba Election Rally" at Soccer City alongside big names in the industry for over 90 000 fans.
